What’s your major?

I am a Senior English Writing Arts major, though I’ve dabbled in everything from Film to Canadian Studies via electives.

What are some of your hobbies?

Video games and associated media take up the bulk of my time, though I’ve also been known to spend far too much time on videos about time and space as well as writing lengthy, convoluted character backstories for D&D Campaigns. The study of writing in these mediums (e.g. tabletop, video games, etc.) occupies most of my thought.

What are your plans for after college?

Ideally, I’d like to work for nonprofit organizations concerning LGBTQ* rights, as I have a vested interest in maintaining and furthering the well-being of myself and those I care about. Realistically though, I may need to start in a less noble occupation.

What is your favorite word?

Currently it’s a tie between “osmosis” and “thaumaturgy.” Both make fun sounds and have little to no use in my life nor most people’s.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

I’d love to travel to Vancouver at some point just for the hell of it. I like mountains, cities, water and Canadians so it seems like a neat place. Vancouver isn’t the only place to find those things of course, but a trip up the West Coast through Oregon and Washington would make my fragile hipster heart sing.

What has been one of your favorite college experiences?

It’s difficult to rate them against each other, but one of my favorites has to be my first trip to Burlington. Delicious food, amazing street performers, and an open marketplace that runs down all of Church St. make for a great destination of a day trip.

What’s your major?

I am an English Writing Arts and Literature but I might be adding a minor soon.

What are some of your hobbies?

My hobbies include playing video and card games, baking, playing dungeons and dragons, planning to do more writing than I actually end up doing, and making lists.

What are your plans for after college?

I don’t have any plans set in stone for after college. I would like to get a novel published and maybe also work with or help a non-profit organization that focuses on the arts or LGBT rights.

What is your favorite word?

I really like the word “penultimate” even though it is a word that is hard to use without sounding pretentious. I also like words with short harsh sounds like “irk” or “grunge”.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

I’d really love the chance to take a road trip across the country. I am fascinated with how drastically different the look and feel of different parts of America can be and I’d love to see it first hand.

What has been one of your favorite college experiences?

Definitely the people I’ve met and the friends I’ve made. It sounds cheese but they have really helped to shape who I am today.

What are your plans for after college?

My plans for after college are honestly not set in stone. A possibility would have something to do with being a freelance travel writer and maybe even have get a travel blog started.

What is your favorite word?

My favorite word is insatiable. It describes in the sense that I’m usually never satisfied with my first efforts in anything. I also just think it just rolls off the tongue smoothly.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

Being a lover of both movies and traveling, two bucket list items of mine would be to take an acting role and travel all over the world.

What has been one of your favorite college experiences?

My favorite college experiences are all centered around the adventures I’ve been able to have in nature, such as hiking and night swimming. New York City is limited in offering these experiences so I have really valued them.

Most of them are the normal ones, like travel or become a successful artist. One that may be more interesting would be to see a kangaroo in person. I used to love kangaroos and everything Australian. Now I realize how dangerous they can be, but it would probably still be really nice to see one in their natural habitat.

One of my photographs was chosen as part of the Studio Selections this semester. It’ll be hung in the Myers lobby where lots of people can appreciate it as much as I do!
